Angola weather overview
Angola, which has a narrow coastal plain and a range of inland plateau, has a healthy and pleasant climate for a tropical country. It has one wet season from October to April and rainfall is heaviest on higher ground.
On the coast, a cold oceanic current brings much fog and cloud as well as sea breezes which moderate temperatures but bring little rain. Inland temperatures are reduced by altitude.
