Air India FAQs

Can I make changes to my booking online?

Yes, you can amend your booking online* by clicking 'Manage My Booking'. Depending on your fare, you may have to pay a fee for making changes. If you wish to cancel your booking and request a refund, you will need to contact Air India's customer service team.

Is my checked baggage transferred to the final destination if I have a connecting flight?

If you have a connecting flight*, your luggage will be automatically transferred to your final destination if all flights were booked on a single e-ticket with Air India or a partner airline.

If you booked the different legs of your journey separately, you may need to claim and recheck your baggage at each connecting flight. You can ask Air India's customer support or your booking agent if you're unsure about what to do.

Are the fares displayed online inclusive of taxes?

Yes, the price you see for your ticket on Air India's website* is inclusive of taxes. However, if an additional tax is introduced between booking and departure, you will be notified and asked to pay this at check-in.
