Condor Ferries fleet

Condor boasts a young fleet of high-speed catamarans and conventional vessels with its latest addition Condor Islander* purchased in 2023. This passenger and roll on/off freight ferry boasts à la carte dining, a children's area and pet-friendly cabins for long journeys.

Then there's the Commodore Clipper*, a conventional passenger ferry, equipped for short island hops and longer stays with en-suite cabins and an à la carte restaurant among the amenities.

The Condor Liberation* and Condor Voyager* are the company's high-speed vessels, which could get you from Jersey to St Malo in less than 90 minutes or Poole to Guernsey in under three hours.

Condor Ferries FAQs

Will I need to change ships on my journey?

Many of Condor Ferries' sailings involve a short stop in either Jersey* or Guernsey*, but you shouldn't need to transfer to a different ship.

However, on some routes, a change of vessel is required or passengers may have to step off for immigration checks if travelling between the UK and France.

Do I need a passport?

Yes. You will need a passport or other identification card on all ferry services.

If you're travelling domestically, Condor Ferries* accepts passports which have expired up to two years before the date of travel and other forms of ID such as a valid driving licence, an armed forces ID card or a disabled badge with photo ID.

For travel between the UK and France, the rules for international travel apply. Therefore, you will need a valid passport.

Does Condor Ferries allow dogs?

Yes. Pets are allowed on board Condor Islander* and Clipper ferries. If you're travelling domestically in a car, pets go for free.

If you're a foot passenger with pets, a charge will apply. If you're travelling internationally (UK to France), there are some extra requirements for carrying a pet and you may need to pay an additional fee.
