A bit about KLM

The white and blue tails of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have long been spotted on the runways of UK airports. As well as being the national carrier for the Netherlands based at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, KLM has the accolade of being one of the world's first commercial airlines, having launched in 1919.

Today, KLM has a fleet of more than 100 aircraft that takes holidaymakers and business travellers all over the world, and, after a merger in 2004, is closely partnered with Air France.
