BA EuroFlyer to operate short haul flights from Gatwick
A new short haul subsidiary of British Airways* named BA EuroFlyer has been established and is set to operate flights from London Gatwick as of March 2022.
As reported in TTG and Travel Weekly, Chief Executive of BA Sean Doyle said: "Our plans for a new BA branded subsidiary to fly short-haul at Gatwick are progressing well and, whilst we still have some further negotiations to sort, it looks likely that we will be up and running to fly the summer schedule."
There's a lot yet to be revealed about the new BA EuroFlyer routes but, for passengers, this is an exciting development and a welcome return to Gatwick*. BA halted the majority of its flights from Gatwick in March 2020 owing to the pandemic.
