Hurtigruten adds more Grand Expedition cruises for 2023
Norwegian cruise line Hurtigruten Expeditions* is building on the success of its two sold-out pole-to-pole Grand Expedition* cruise itineraries for 2022/2023 by adding three to its schedule for 2023/2024.
Each cruise will depart in August 2023 and see Hurtigruten's ships travel from the northern hemisphere to Ushuaia, Argentina in the southern hemisphere via three different routes.
The longest will take place aboard the new battery-hybrid powered MS Roald Amundsen*, which will travel from Vancouver, Canada via the Panama Canal over the course of 94 days.
Meanwhile, MS Fridtjof Nansen* will depart from Reykjavik, Iceland over the course of 93 days with stops in Peru, Chile and Ecuador.
Finally, MS Fram* will host a 66-day crossing from Cambridge Bay in Arctic Canada. Each of the itineraries will include opportunities to discover more about the destinations, environment and sustainability. Prices start from £23,086.
Asta Lassesen, Chief Executive of Hurtigruten Expeditions, said: "These are undoubtedly the most unique and exclusive expedition cruises we have ever offered in our 126-year history, and we believe these are the ultimate expedition cruise experiences.
"These extraordinary voyages will showcase some of the most spectacular nature and wildlife on our planet and offer authentic encounters with unique cultures."
